Pheasant Field B&B

Kevin, Amy, their daughter, and son-in-law were all so welcoming and helped make our trip great. The property and house are peaceful and beautiful, with a country feel even though two cities are just minutes away. The rooms were wonderful, and I liked the sheets so much I bought a set. They have pet-friendly rooms, too. Breakfast was phenomenal every morning, with two choices each day. The weather was lovely, so we enjoyed eating outside. We look forward to staying again.

Kevin and Amy were fun to chat with, and they shared some history and ideas for what to see and do nearby. Kevin was attentive and made sure we had what we needed. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. I loved learning that the barn dates to 1794 and the house to the 1800s. Such a delightful place for a relaxing getaway.

My boyfriend surprised me with a weekend getaway, and it was my first bed and breakfast stay. We stayed in the cottage, which really felt like a home away from home. Amy and Kevin were kind and easy to talk to, and the breakfasts were awesome. Knowing the food was fresh and locally sourced was a bonus. I loved seeing nature where it belongs, including a woodpecker and a couple of otters in the pond across from us. This will be my standard for future bed and breakfasts.

Robin was incredibly responsive over email and patiently answered all my questions, even the ones I’d already asked a million times, lol. The staff were very hospitable to us and our overnight guests, which made the chaos the next morning feel less chaotic. We had our wedding reception here on 10/18/25 and couldn’t have asked for a better venue. We appreciate everything they did to make sure the day went off without a hitch.
