Residence Inn by Marriott Greenville Downtown

Randy made the stay. She welcomed us from a distance and arranged a top-floor room with a great view, and her customer service was phenomenal. The property itself is beautiful, the breakfast was good, and it’s right in the heart of Greenville. We highly recommend it.

Even with the hotel full, the employees stayed pleasant and unflustered, and the service went above and beyond. Our room was clean and nice; the pool looked inviting, though it was too cold for us to swim. They kept it open and running anyway. The courtyard was clean and well kept, with lots of chairs and a couple of firepits. You can walk to everything nearby, including Bon Secours arena. Parking costs a bit, but self-parking on spring st. across the street is cheaper. The streets seemed narrow to us. I’d stay again.

The only part that let us down was valet, where a few attendants came across as pushy and rude. Everything else made our reception at The Beehive by Open Honey unforgettable. The food was full of flavor and beautifully presented, and the serving staff went out of their way to make sure it all went perfectly.

The attached restaurant was delicious, and the little scavenger hunt for kids made the stay even more fun. The rooms were spacious and thoughtfully laid out, the building was clean and nicely decorated, and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. This was easily the nicest Residence Inn we’ve stayed at. We’ll absolutely come back. Thanks to the wonderful staff!
