Express Inn & Suites

The front desk woman was the only pleasant part of our stay. We planned on three nights at $60 a night in room 108, which had a king-size bed, but it wasn't as clean as we'd expected. The carpet was filthy, the furniture old and worn, and roaches were crawling on the sink and walls. My husband asked for a full refund and they refused. Zero stars.

I booked this pet-friendly motel through a third-party site and had to pay extra to move one room downstairs, since most of the adults are handicapped and can't manage stairs easily. I also learned to ask about pet fees before booking anywhere, because keeping my dogs here turned out to be rather costly. I won't make that mistake again, and I won't stay here again either. Breakfast was a joke: there was nothing to eat out of or with, and the only choices were two dry cereals my child found unappealing.

Some employees were really rude. They wouldn't get us an extra bed and told us to sleep with our older child. They gave us a blanket, so I slept on the floor. I woke up to a flood, with all my clothes wet. Outside, a pipe was sticking out of the ground and water had flooded the whole area. Breakfast was terrible too, just cereal and milk, and the coffee was clear.

There were roaches everywhere when we entered the room, coming out around the bathroom sink and from the tub drain, and even in the bed. The whole place was dirty, with pubic hair everywhere. The swimming pool wasn't working.
