The extra charges added up fast. I had two rooms and paid $150 per room as a security deposit, plus $55 for early check-in. Late checkout costs extra too, so my $650 rooms quickly became $1,000 rooms. The rooms were clean enough and the hotel was nice enough, with mostly friendly staff and an average breakfast. But the beds weren’t comfortable, the pillows were like pancakes, and the sheets kept popping off the mattresses. Fire alarms went off in the middle of the night. Breakfast was put away at different times each morning, so you couldn’t count on getting it. There was only one towel per person, and we had to track someone down or go to the front desk for more. You can also hear everything outside, every car door, horn, and people talking.

The night time alarms woke us up at midnight, and the same breakfast was served every morning. With only one elevator, and the ice machine all the way on the first floor, getting around wasn’t worth the hassle for us. Hotels.com hadn’t told us about the high deposit, especially when other places ask only $50. We also had to pay for early check-in, which is ridiculous no matter who sets that policy. If checkout is at 11am, it shouldn’t take four hours to get a room ready. I prefer a hassle-free hotel, and this one wasn’t.

The complimentary breakfast was great, and the rooms were very clean and smelled nice. The property is well maintained, and the staff were kind, friendly, and attentive. It’s in a great spot with lots of restaurants nearby. I’ll keep coming back and can’t wait to book my next trip.

Danielle's amazing, and really makes you feel at home. The hotel was very clean and good value for the money. It’s near costco, trader Joe's, whole foods, and lots of restaurants. Breakfast was the only real downside, it was below par.

The hotel was quite nice and looked fairly new, and the room was very clean. The front desk guy made check-in a little difficult, though. Maybe he was having an off day, but after being on the road for hours I would’ve appreciated a friendlier welcome. The location was good.
