Ramada by Wyndham Rock Hill at Sullivan Center

A brew pub right across the street can deliver straight to your room, and the location is great. The rooms feel current and were incredibly clean, which stood out to me because I used to work in hospitality and am fussy about cleanliness. Everyone working here was friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely come back.

I liked the pancakes best at breakfast, and the coffee was good too. It’s a simple continental spread in the lobby, with a small area and the usual breakfast items. There are also three restaurants within walking distance, and they deliver. Afterward I played a few games of billiards. I’d forgotten my swimsuit, so I missed out on the nice indoor pool, though there’s also an exercise room. For me, a walk in the beautiful, peaceful Sullivan County countryside is enough exercise. The hotel is in a quiet part of Rock Hill, New York, close to venues and events and easy to reach from State Route 17 (The future I-86). Our room was at the back, so it was quiet and clean. It’s a good location, and the area’s low crime rate made it feel safe for the whole family.

The mattresses were really uncomfortable, and by the time I asked about a cot after 10 pm, they’d run out. That was my only complaint. We were here for the weekend before going to kartrite water park, and the hotel was clean despite being busy. The man at the front desk handled our last-minute booking well. My family loved the pool and workout area, and the wings we ordered from crust restaurant next door were some of the best I’ve had. Definitely check them out.

We wanted a fun, relaxed, spontaneous mini getaway after our wedding and for my husband’s birthday, and Jillian helped make it just that. She’s local and had great suggestions for dining and exploring town, including which places were open during the pandemic. She went beyond what we expected and was incredibly helpful at the front desk. We had a great stay, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone nearby. Thanks, Jillian, for being so wonderful!
