Extended Stay America - San Diego - Carlsbad Villa

Jay made us feel welcome right away and turned check-in into a really pleasant experience. He was friendly, got us through the process quickly, and knew a lot about the area. We appreciated his suggestions for restaurants and things to do around town. If you're checking in, look for Jay!

I've been here for over a week and the stay has been wonderful. The workers are phenomenal, kind, and willing to understand and work with people. The atmosphere is comforting, I haven't been bothered, and there haven't been noisy neighbors or anything out of the ordinary. The rooms are clean and comfortable when you arrive, the process is simple, and it feels worth every penny. The kitchens are easy to use and have everything you need. It's near everything and works well for a short stay. For a longer stay, it can be a place to restart and get life back on track when you need it.

As I understand it, the hotel has been completely renovated, so many of the reviews aren't current. Management is fantastic, the staff have been wonderful, and the room cleaners are kind and ready to help. I love the location, two blocks from Carlsbad beach and close to restaurants, with the beach just down the street. My room has a full kitchen, which I love, and it's very clean. I have no complaints. I'm staying here between selling my house and buying a new one.

I've been staying here for a few months, and every staff member I've dealt with has been kind and helpful. Marisol, the manager, makes sure guests are cared for and things run smoothly. The premises are clean and secure, and there's always someone available to answer questions or help with whatever you need. I definitely recommend it.
