The cozy atmosphere and all the thoughtful little touches made this a six-out-of-five stay for us. We checked in on Valentine’s Day and were surprised to find a setup in the room, with little treats also left at check-in and after housekeeping. It wasn’t a paid add-on. The bed, sheets, and pillows were really comfortable, and the breakfast next door was the best we’ve ever had out. The care they put into the stay is unbeatable. Highly recommend, six stars!

We had a perfect stay at this lovely, well-equipped B&B just off one of Carlsbad’s main streets. Our room was comfortable and clean, with welcome cookies, coffee in the room, and mints. Blue House serves a tasty breakfast to start the day. Great for a visit to Carlsbad Caverns.

I booked at the last minute for a night in Carlsbad and got the Whiskey Before Breakfast room. It was spacious and extremely comfortable, with everything I could think of needing. Breakfast included fruit, muffins, juice, yogurt, and coffee. This place is a gem, and I’ll definitely try to stay here again next time I’m in town.

The Innkeeper, Jenn, is lovely and answers questions promptly. We stayed in the cute “Whiskey before Breakfast” room, which was comfortable and had a big bathroom, mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster, and plenty of towels and toilet paper. We got a food voucher for “Blue House bakery & cafe” just two doors down. What a hidden gem. The food was great, and you MUST get a pastry. Dinner at “Red Chimney Bar B Que” was lovely too. I’d recommend staying here when visiting the National Parks. No need to spend on big-name hotels, support the local community!

I slept extremely well in the Sailors Hornpipe room, which was dark, quiet, and comfortable. After a long day hiking Gaudalupe Peak, the hot tub felt great, and it was warm and clean. Breakfast came with a voucher for a nice bakery down the street, where I had hot coffee, a breakfast burrito with green chiles, and the scone of the day, chocolate chip. My stay at Fiddler’s Inn was wonderful and better in every way than what I’d expect at chain hotels charging a premium for their names. I’d happily stay here whenever I pass through.
