Hampton Inn Indianapolis/Carmel

Breakfast was one of the highlights: lots to choose from, everything kept stocked, hot food hot and cold food cold. My room was modern, spotless, and arranged well, with a great mattress and quiet, powerful air conditioning. I was here for two nights on a business trip this week, and everyone I dealt with was helpful, accommodating, and kind, from housekeeping and breakfast staff to the front desk. Nothing fell short. Honestly, it was the best time I’ve had away from home. Thank you!

The room was clean and good, and the front desk service was good. I did have two concerns. The price seemed high for a location that isn’t central, and housekeeping came in even though I had put the do not disturb sign on the door. That has never happened to me at a hotel before. The front desk didn’t seem very surprised when I mentioned it, so keep in mind that privacy may not be a priority here.

I only spent one night at the Hampton Inn - Carmel in mid-May 2021, and I came away pleased. The staff members I spoke with were both helpful and friendly, and the bright hallways added to the pleasant feel. The room was roomy, well lit, and very clean. The bathroom was large, with a good-sized shower and no tub. There was a microwave, single-cup coffee maker, and small refrigerator without a freezer compartment. They seemed to have a breakfast room, but because of the pandemic the food was take-away only: cereal bar, bagel, fruit, yogurt, and similar items. Coffee was set out in the lobby. I can’t find anything to fault from my one-night stay.

The room was spotless and the bed was incredibly comfortable, so we’d happily stay again. The property had been upgraded in January 2020, before the pandemic shutdown in March, and it looks beautiful, with the feel of a high-end hotel.
