Du Wayne Motel

The place smelled of mildew, the sheets and pillows were nasty, and the carpet had tears in it. A light was coming off the wall, the AC didn’t work, and the doors didn’t lock properly. I was told every key in the place could open every room. The bathroom had mold everywhere, and none of the outlets worked. When I reported an outlet issue, the front desk guy said it had worked before. The laundry machine took my money, but when I mentioned it, he said there was no proof I’d lost it. At $75 a night, this wasn’t worth it. I could go on for days, but the photos say plenty.

At $75 a night, I don’t think this place is worth staying in. It smelled horrible, the bathtub and carpet were filthy, and the toilet barely worked. There was no heat in the bathroom either. This is by far the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in the area, and I’m never coming back. You could go down the street to woodspring suites for a better room.

There were insects in the room, and the water from the shower smelled foul and disgusting. The room was dirty, and the bathroom door was broken and wouldn’t shut properly. I had a terrible stay and wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The bed was extremely comfortable, but the room was still somewhat dirty, and the smoke alarm was inside a drawer instead of on the wall. The closet knob had broken off. Once I got the door open, there was mold on it, webs everywhere, and moldy carpet inside. The shower was dirty and rusty, so I let it run for a few minutes to clear the dirt and wore flip-flops. The shower head seemed clogged and wasn’t giving a proper stream. For $75, the room wasn’t bad, though given its condition it could cost less. For another $5-10, there’s a clean local motel6 with working showers. Would I stay here again? Probably, if I had no other choice.
