The Windstar Hotel

The people working at WindStar hotel made my stay during the recent snowstorm especially memorable. The night-shift gentleman cleared the sidewalk to my car and brushed the snow off it without my asking, even though he had no gloves or snow boots. He went well beyond what he had to do. The housekeeper also took time to comfort me when I was feeling anxious. I’m sorry I can’t name either of them, but I won’t forget their kindness. I felt safe there, and the room and common areas were very clean. Breakfast was simple rather than fancy, but the food was very good. The location was great too. I highly recommend WindStar hotel, and thank you to those wonderful people.

I booked just two hours before I arrived, and I’m really glad I chose this place. Walking in, everything was very clean and smelled nice. A clean room is my favorite thing, and I was very happy with my stay.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and everyone we met on staff was friendly. We’d originally booked a Deluxe queen suite and a family suite, but the very kind woman at the desk upgraded my Queen suite to another family suite for free so we’d all have more room. We really enjoyed our stay. We didn’t get enough time to try the pool, but we’d stay here again.

The pool area was beautiful and exceptionally clean, and the rooms were spacious and much cleaner than those at many “big name” hotels I’ve stayed in. The fresh, clean smell when you enter is noticeable, check-in was easy, and the staff were kind and helpful. The whole property looks great inside and out. This is absolutely the best hotel on Carolina Beach, and my family and I plan to keep staying here.
