Motel 6 Gardena, CA - South

We needed a room urgently last night, and this was the best rate we could find, so we gave it a try. MOTEL 6 has been good to me at other locations, and this stay was just as positive. The front desk was pleasant, checked us in quickly, and was available when we needed help. The room was roomy and clean, with no odd smells or bugs, and the AC worked amazingly. It was worth the drive out of the way. I loved staying here. Next time I’ll ask for a room on the third floor. Thanks, MOTEL 6 GARDENA.

For one night, especially with LA prices, this was an okay place and the cheapest option I found. The room was clean and everything worked. There wasn’t a hairdryer, which was fine, and the staff weren’t especially friendly, though they were helpful and not rude. The area seemed fine by day, but I wouldn’t want to walk alone at night. The hallways and elevator smelled a bit and had flies, but none got into my room. They let me keep my bicycle in the room, which was great.

The price was great for the area, and check-in was easy with kind staff. Just don’t walk barefoot in the room.

Once you’re in the room, the stay is pleasant. The rooms are spacious and the location is convenient. But the staff were very rude and not customer friendly. I had two bad experiences, so maybe it’s a few bad apples, but it left me feeling they need new staff. They seem to forget that customers are how they get paid.
