La Kris Inn

We only stayed one night while passing through, but the inn was so clean, charming, and well stocked that I’d have been happy to stay longer. Old Town was walkable from there, and getting to the beach took just a short drive. There was a little highway noise, though it didn’t bother us. We didn’t hear other noise even though the place seemed fairly full. Great value. Thanks, La Kris!

We’d happily come back. Check-in was quick and friendly, and our room was cute with plenty of space. It had the basics we needed, including a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and hair dryer. Being right on 101 made it easy to get around, and downtown was close.

The thin walls let us hear the neighbor snoring, and traffic from 101 came through loudly because the windows were single pane. We knew the road noise might be there, but it was amplified. The room itself was tiny, with a small TV and a loud refrigerator. The bathtub was stained, caulking was missing around its edges, and two bathroom bulbs were burned out. The bathroom supplies and coffee maker looked awful. At check-in, a woman who may have been the manager was dealing with three dogs barking nonstop in the room behind her. After reading reviews, we expected nicer accommodations, but it felt like an old roadside motel room from years ago. We won’t stay at “La Kris” again when visiting the Oregon coast.

They were caring and helped us get churches in. The room was clean and comfortable, and I slept really well, score of 90. Basic cable and internet were included. Worked perfectly for an overnight near the pier.
