Motel 6 Dyersburg, TN

The owners are friendly, and the policy is clear. It’s clean, newly remodeled and close to everything. I really liked that the pet fee is refundable. When we’re back through Dyersburg/ Ripley, this will be our spot.

The rooms aren’t very clean, and the beds aren’t comfortable. They also take a security deposit and give it back when you leave. That’s a ridiculous thing to charge.

The staff were friendly, the rooms clean and the beds nice. I’d absolutely recommend motel 6 here in dyersburg. Wish I didn’t have to leave!

I donated $100 to someone who was staying there after they went on TikTok Live saying they needed money for a room. I felt bad about their situation. Right afterward, I called the hotel just to check whether the person was actually staying there. They told me the person had checked out, but I later found out he hadn’t. He also said publicly that he planned to record the call because the front desk had put it on speaker. I called back to complain because I expected the call to be private, and the manager berated me. I strongly recommend against booking here. The staff were extremely unpleasant and didn’t respect the privacy of someone simply calling a business to ask a question.
