Motel 6 Catonsville, MD – Baltimore West

Cassandra at the front desk was exceptionally courteous and hospitable, and helped us a lot during our stay. The room was spacious, but my room and the hallway had fruit flies everywhere. Some staff were rude when I asked about having the room tidied, and told me I had to find housekeeping myself.

The room was very clean, and the place was quiet. There’s lots of parking, even for large trucks. Sathwik at the front desk was welcoming and made the check-in process easy, which was a great gesture.

The price is good, and my room had been updated, though the work looked sloppy. I took a shower but still couldn’t feel clean here. While I’m writing this, I’ve found two small roaches. I killed one, but the other got away. Sleep tight?

Anil handled both check-in and check-out, and was very kind. There was some confusion with our first room, but he sorted it out quickly and without a hassle. The room is clearly old, but it was spotless, and at a low price I’ll take clean over new. The housekeepers deserve a lot of praise for how well they keep it. We did see one cockroach, but it was already dead. We were on the ground floor, so who knows where it came from, but it wasn’t alive. I’m careful with five-star reviews because I want them to mean something, and this place truly earned one. It exceeded my expectations.
