There were unsavory people hanging around, and I didn’t feel safe. I paid in advance for seven nights in a smoke-free room, but the room they showed me reeked of smoke. When I asked for another, they gave me one full of mildew and mold, with old rugs that smelled putrid. I said I couldn’t stay and left within seven minutes of arriving. They still kept a night’s fee and refused to reimburse me, despite not providing a room as advertised. They didn’t care.

The hotel and my room looked old and dirty, and I was disappointed with my stay. I only booked it because I needed an affordable place to sleep. When housekeeping brought towels and washcloths, they were stained, so I went to the store and bought my own. They do serve breakfast, but the toaster doesn’t work properly. A staff member told me to hold its handle down so my waffle wouldn’t pop back up. The juice machine is also always out of order. I won’t stay here again.

Roaches were everywhere I saw them, in the bedroom, bathroom, and by the desk. The shower curtain was ripped, and the smoke detector had been removed. I later found it hidden in the room with its batteries taken out. Outside, there were used condoms on the sidewalk and trash scattered around. I also saw what looked like a child working there. With the roaches, used condoms, and frequent screaming and alleged violence in the rooms, the environment felt unsafe. I’ll be calling the health department as soon as possible. I won’t return. This place needs to be shut down immediately.

The bed was comfortable enough, but the pillows were flat and worn out. The sheets and towels were old and stained, and the rooms felt out of date. This should have been a $25 room.
