Cypress Tree Motel

Room 12 had separate bedrooms, which gave our granddaughters privacy, a nice surprise. The kitchen was a bonus and had all the silverware, pots and pans we needed. Its cabinets, counter, and textured walls reminded me of our 1931 home, and I’m glad they haven’t been replaced. The room heater worked very well, and the ceiling fan helped with that. Both nights I slept pleasantly with no noise, except once when a loud vehicle went by in the afternoon and woke me up. It was an easy walk to town, our favorite restaurants, and the beach, and we could also drive north or south. The hosts were super nice, including the person in the parking lot. We didn’t use the fire pit or BBQ in the groomed area off to the side. We had a great three-day stay and will be back. Thank you, Gary

We loved being able to walk to everything, and the prices were very reasonable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, though a little small. It’s a dog-friendly place, with a grassy area and plenty of poop bags. I liked the BBQ area and vintage signs, and the rooms and atmosphere had a nice, quirky feel. Nothing fancy, but it was great and I’d go back.

The garden right outside our door was my favorite part, with a bench and umbrella, a nicely sized Webber grill, a fire pit, and patio string lights that made it feel homey. The owners came out to meet us and chat as soon as we pulled in, and they were so kind. The rooms each have a different theme. They’re small, but cozy and intimate. Ours smelled clean and had what we needed: a mini fridge, microwave, TV, shampoo and conditioner, hand soap, and a blow dryer. We’re looking forward to coming back!
