The breakfast card let us choose everything we wanted, and the quiche alone was to die for. Add the amazing parfait with homemade granola, and all the flavors were so wow! We got two big, thick chocolate chip cookies on our doorknob, too. Our room was clean, nicely and simply decorated, spacious, and not overfilled. First-floor rooms have assigned parking, and there’s also an underground garage. Next time we’ll stay on the second floor so parked cars don’t block our ocean view. My boyfriend surprised me with a night on the coast at By the beach bed and breakfast, and the friendly person at the counter made us feel welcome. Top-notch business. It’s a wonderful place, and I can’t wait to return.

The staff were all incredible, and breakfast was delicious. We loved the daily cookies too. The rooms were clean and roomy, right in the heart of town, with everything within walking distance. Such a cute spot, we’ve loved our stay!

We could hear the waves crashing on shore every night, and the service was really attentive. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and breakfast each day was delicious. This charming B&B is perfectly located for visiting Hearst Castle and wineries.

Each morning we got a rustic, loving, delicious meal, served with the charm and presentation of a high-end restaurant. My wife and I were hooked on the food. In the evenings there was a complimentary glass of wine and a homemade cookie, every bit as good as breakfast. I’ll cherish our time here and will be back for decades, no doubt. The location couldn’t be better. Service was perfect, the bedrooms were clean, the bathrooms spectacular, and the view was to die for. Everything about the stay was incredible.
