The bus stop right out front made it easy to get where we wanted, even though the hotel isn’t close to much. Our room was mistakenly booked as smoking, but the staff worked to move us to a non-smoking room. They also kept our luggage because our flight got in very early, which gave us some time to explore. The rooms are well maintained, the beds are comfortable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

I paid $189 for one night in a 2-Queen room on 2/20/26, and the place was in shambles. The tub wouldn’t drain and held three inches of yellow water that looked like an unflushed toilet. Staff tried to tell me yellow water was normal because “the city water is yellow.” A previous guest had apparently sent a soap wrapper down the drain, but the tub clearly hadn’t been tested after cleaning. The exterior door handle was coming away from the door; maintenance said the dead bolt still worked, so security apparently wasn’t a concern. There were ripped scraps of paper with year-old notices at the front desk, and a door slammed against the safety lock. I bought Febreeze and a few auto Xmas trees at Publix to make the smell bearable. Staff barely reacted when I complained, as if that was what I should expect for $189 a night. The Days Inn and Wyndham logos seem undeserved here; I saw no sign that anyone cared about having a reputation. The front desk manager showed some courtesy at first. Then, during a card reader problem, I saw him snatch my card from an employee and shove it back into his hand. It felt like an ego thing, and he clearly made the employee feel small. Never again. I’d skip this place.

We made it through the night, and the rooms were reasonably clean, so there’s that. The beds were very comfortable and the front desk staff were friendly. But the door was really hard to open, and what we got was way overpriced.

We left at 7am after getting no sleep. People were yelling in the halls during the early morning, including at 4am when they were shouting about going to Wawa. The room was falling apart and dirty, and our non-smoking room reeked of cigarettes. Crumbs covered the floors, the tile was slippery, and there were dust specks on everything. There was mold on the shower ceiling and what looked like a booger on the inside of the curtain. I would have left if the mattress under the blanket had been dirty too.
