For what I paid, this was one of the better budget motels I’ve stayed in. It’s close to downtown with plenty of food nearby, and the room had what I needed. It looked a little dated, but everything worked. The place was quiet and peaceful, even on a busy Friday, though at times it was so quiet it felt a bit eerie. I did notice people who seemed to live there and folks smoking outside, but nobody disturbed me. The owner was kind and gave me a small discount when snow kept me from driving and I needed one extra night. The cleaner checked each morning whether I wanted fresh towels or the bed made. Older reviews seem less positive, so it looks like some good changes have been made. People expecting a five-star stay for $75 a night may be disappointed, but I’ll come back when I’m in town. This is my third and last night here.

The staff seemed friendly, and breakfast was reasonable for a motel. The rest of the stay was rough. We’d spent the day at Zion National Park and hoped to relax in the pool and hot tub, but they looked a little green and not clean enough, so we skipped them. The rooms felt like they hadn’t changed since the 70s or 80s, and the noisy AC kept me awake most of the night. I stayed here with my family in June 2012 while driving north to Canada, when the place was still called Knights Inn. It was one of my worst nights, since the facilities didn’t leave me feeling safe or relaxed.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the Wi-Fi worked well. Bardmoor Suites was just right for my trip from Las Vegas to see a show at the Utah Shakespeare Festival. It fit my budget, and the service was quick, efficient, and friendly. The neighborhood felt quiet and safe, with the festival within walking distance. Gas stations, restaurants, and a grocery store were close by too. I’d definitely recommend it.

The air conditioning worked really well, which was a plus. We checked in late and only stayed a few hours, so the problems didn’t affect us for long. Still, the room could use some cosmetic fixes, and it wasn’t especially clean. There was hair and crumbs under the sheets on one bed, and water was leaking from around the toilet base.

We only stayed the one night, and the room itself was clean, nice, and not too dated. Breakfast was the disappointing part. The juice was tasty, and making your own waffles was a nice touch, but there were just two sugary cereal options and waffles. I’d hoped for more variety.
