From arrival to departure, the stay was a hassle. My pregnant wife, our six-year-old daughter, and I were told the room would take 10 minutes, but check-in ended up delayed by more than half an hour. We waited in the lobby with all our luggage while a Gold member was given snacks right away as they waited. That service gap says a lot about the hotel’s priorities and execution. The pool advertised online was closed, and the only alternative was to drive to a nearby Marriott to use theirs. There was no compensation, acknowledgment, or effort to make up for the inconvenience. The hotel had just one luggage cart, so I made several trips to get our things to the vehicle. When I brought this up, General Manager Megan said they were new and still working out the kinks. That may explain things internally, but it isn’t an acceptable excuse for guests under the Hilton Honors brand. The stay wasn’t completely unacceptable, but for a hotel of this size and brand, these failures were inexcusable. I won’t return, and I’d advise others to keep their expectations in check or stay elsewhere.

Our big family came from Las Vegas, Nevada, for my brother’s wedding at the park place, and we were so glad to gather with cousins, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and everyone else. There were 85 of us from a family of 10, spread across several rooms at the new Hilton. Olive at the front desk was so accommodating and kept a happy smile through every situation. The whole staff was amazing and put up with our large family so kindly. Everyone was very helpful that weekend at the new Hilton Hampton in Cedar City, Utah. We’ll definitely stay at the Hilton again. Thank you so much, from the bottom of our hearts. The Morrison Family

The new hotel was lovely, very clean, and in a great location. Staff were friendly, though the breakfast crew was still learning how to handle weekend needs. The pool and hot tub area hadn’t opened yet, but all in all we had a great stay. It was about an hour’s drive to two National Parks and Bryan Head ski resort. The parking lot was also easy to enter and leave, which isn’t always true of downtown hotels. I’d stay here again if I’m in Cedar City.

The hotel was clean and the rooms were okay, but the indoor pool that was advertised is closed and unavailable to guests. When I called the front desk, they suggested taking an Uber to the Courtyard Hotel, about two miles away, to use the pool because they’re sister properties. That’s ridiculous. Fix the pool or remove it from the ad.

The morning view from the fifth floor was awesome, and there’s plentiful self-parking behind the hotel. It’s well lit, easy to access, and off the street. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was easy through the main side entrance. The rooms are very comfortable, and the free breakfast buffet was good on all three days.
