Motel 6 Cedar City, UT

The location is handy for visiting places like Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, and Brian Head Ski Resort, or for a short stopover. We had a comfortable, memorable stay at Motel 6 in Cedar City. Our room was clean, the rate was very reasonable, and the staff were welcoming and courteous. There’s a washing machine and clothes dryer on every floor. Special thanks to Mr. Ashish and his family for their warm hospitality and personal care. Excellent value for money, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cedar City.

I understand room attendants have a lot of rooms to clean, but that doesn’t make it okay to bang on my door repeatedly to clean before checkout time. It felt incredibly disrespectful. If you can’t turn rooms around fast enough, set an earlier checkout time. That’s not my problem. Do better.

I’m in hotels most of the year for work and have stayed at plenty of Motel 6s. These are the friendliest, kindest people I’ve ever dealt with at one. The place is clean and well kept too. Amazing people, 10 out of 10, would recommend.

I work online every morning, so dependable, strong internet is essential. The connection is iffy when I’m teaching classes on my laptop, and it never works properly on my phone. I can’t message clients overseas or do much of anything with my phone, even using maps. My phone apps all work fine once I leave Motel 6. Since this puts my online work at risk, I doubt I’ll stay again, even though the price is appealing. I travel with dogs, so I choose places that clearly welcome them at an affordable price. I don’t need much, just a clean, quiet place to stay, and this motel has provided that so far. But it feels rundown, and the hallway carpets need cleaning more often. A few inexpensive maintenance fixes would make a real difference. Also, it’s silly that they stopped providing tissues.
