The breakfast is the highlight for me, especially those well-seasoned, delicious potatoes. There were also waffles, cheesy scrambled eggs, sausage links, cereal, and other options. The room was spacious enough and came with a comfy bed, fridge, and microwave. It isn't glamorous, but it did the job, and I'd definitely recommend staying here. A couple of things could be better: the big shower head looks nice but the pressure was too weak, so I'd swap it for a smaller one on an S-shaped extension. The bathroom ceiling has cracks, and holes in the walls are covered with screwed-on plates. I've reviewed a lot of places, and this one had some interesting details.

The room itself was clean, quiet, affordable, and had a working fridge and microwave. But the other amenities were mostly unusable. There was no Wi-Fi in our room, apparently because it doesn't reach many rooms. Hot water in the shower lasted about two minutes, then went cold. The hot tub was out of service, and the pool was so cold I could barely get in, even though I'm used to Maine's frigid ocean. There weren't any towels by the pool either. The window's thick side curtains were just for show and wouldn't slide, leaving only a sheer curtain between us and headlights or people walking past. For the price, I can't complain too much, but I wouldn't recommend the place or come back.

The bedroom was okay, and breakfast was fine too, with sausage, eggs, potatoes, cereal, and a waffle maker. But the dining area chairs were VERY dirty and gross. They really need to clean those chairs. Seriously.

The room wasn't too bad for a cheap place. It was clean, and the bed was pretty comfortable, but they treated me like I was staying at some fancy hotel. I was there for a couple of days with my son and asked the front desk for towels while going to breakfast. The guy said I had to bring the old ones back first. Going back and forth just for towels didn't seem realistic, so I left mine outside the room when I saw someone cleaning nearby. The next day I asked again, explained where I'd left them, and he told me not to do that. I got annoyed because they don't clean rooms unless you ask, and I was asking for help. He did finally give me towels, but getting them shouldn't have been so hard. I also left my key in the room by accident. When I asked for a replacement, he said I needed to bring in the old one. I couldn't, since it was locked inside, so I had to use the new key to get it, then come back and return the one he'd given me. At checkout, I just left the key and went, since that's what I've done at places other than nice hotels or resorts. He called asking if I'd checked out and said I needed to come to the front desk. Maybe these are their rules and I'm just picking on them, but there are probably better quality hotels nearby that won't make you run in circles for basic things.

WORST HOTEL EVER! The room was disgusting: dead bugs in the bathtub, mystery stains all over the floor, and dirty socks left behind by previous guests. The AC/heating unit was so loud we couldn't sleep with it on, and my children and I froze all night. When I asked for a refund, the manager had a lot of attitude, then reluctantly agreed to a partial refund. After that, they took another $150 from my account and stopped answering the phone. I'd give zero stars if I could. UPDATE: After I posted this, they debited another $150. When I finally reached the manager, he said, “If you don't like the hotel then you should have just checked out and left.” It was 10 PM, we were hours from home, and we were in town for a dance competition. If leaving had been an option, we would have done it right away. After nobody answered for two days, I had to call corporate to get help. Seriously, don't stay here!
