Rodeway Inn

Heather was fantastic when we needed anything extra, from towels to suggestions for places to eat and parks to visit. The location is great too, with a few restaurants within walking distance. We were traveling on a budget and just needed a shower, somewhere to sleep, and a mini fridge and microwave, so it worked well for us. I booked through a third party that said breakfast was included, but apparently it hasn't been included for a while at any Rodeway hotels. The pool was closed and looked like it needed maintenance. The ice machine and washer were broken, so look elsewhere if you need those amenities. This is a good place to shower, keep some food cold, heat something up, and crash on a comfortable bed before heading out to do whatever you came to Cedar City for, instead of spending the day in a hotel room.

The price and location were good, and our room was clean, though the building felt run down and the rooms looked old and pieced together. Noise was my biggest issue. Traffic, guests arriving with loud cars, people coming and going all night, and neighbors fighting could all be heard. The place needs better soundproofing. If you don't mind that noise, go for it. Those are just my observations and feelings. Have a great stay.

The indoor pool was a lot of fun, and the beds were comfortable. The hotel was relatively quiet, and we still had a nice visit. It wasn't perfect: the toilets were oddly close to the wall, there was a stain on the carpet, and the morning staff weren't very nice to us. The person who checked us in, though, was great, kind and personable. Breakfast had cereal, which is really all I need. We'd stayed here before and will again. It felt like a bargain.

Our car broke down, and even though it was the Fourth of July, the wonderful woman running the hotel helped us book a room and get checked in. The women working there are so welcoming and treat you like family. I can't say enough good things about the staff. If you want to feel safe and be treated amazingly, this is the place!
