Home2 Suites by Hilton Cedar Rapids Westdale

Our king room had loads of storage, with shelves, drawers, and a hanging closet, plus a kitchen with proper dishes and silverware, a sink, and dishwasher. The whole hotel was clean, the staff friendly, and breakfast was great. We only stayed one night, but arrived in time to pick up dinner from the Mexican restaurant across the parking lot and watch the Super Bowl on the big TV. Oddly enough, having a real knife and fork for our takeout was one of my favorite details.

Anna, Jennifer, and Madeline made the stay for me. They were so welcoming, professional, and went out of their way to make sure I was looked after. The hotel itself was really clean and organized, and breakfast was tasty, a nice way to start the day. I had a fantastic visit at Home2 Suites in Cedar Rapids and would recommend it.

We brought our 45 pound Labrador retriever, and the hotel was very pet-friendly. Everything looked new, nice, and clean. Robert and Alex were extremely accommodating with our large group. We had a great stay and will definitely come back.

The area is lovely, with lots of places to shop and eat, and I hope to try the Dirty Dough cookies before we leave. I liked the layout and feng shui, and the rooms were nice and spacious. Breakfast was good, as were the coffee, AC, and workout room. The salt water pool was a welcome surprise. My only gripe is that the cleaner was rushing to get our room ready and missed a couple things. It did smell like dogs in there, but my daughter, who's very allergic to dogs, had no problems.
