Embassy Suites Hotel Denver Tech Center

The breakfast buffet had loads of choices, from made-to-order omelets and scrambled eggs to potatoes, toast, bagels, cereal, and more. We also liked the complimentary drinks and snacks before dinner, and the indoor pool kept the kids busy while we waited. All the staff were kind and helpful, and the Christmas decorations were a nice touch during our December stay. Our suite worked really well for us. The living room was separate from the bedroom, and we could shut the door for privacy. The pullout bed came in handy, and having a refrigerator and microwave was especially convenient with kids. The room was nicely laid out, though a building blocked the mountain view. Maybe a higher floor would have had a better one. We loved staying here and would definitely come back.

The lobby looks impressive, but the rooms felt worn out, nothing like the luxury suites I expected from an Embassy Suites. The carpet was so dirty that you could see it on your socks, the furniture was scratched and wobbly, and the doors squeaked. There were no smart TVs, and my window looked out onto a construction site. I had booked four prepaid nights but left after just one. They wouldn't check me out or offer any kind of refund. Great customer service, huh.

The breakfast had good choices, and the omelet station moved quickly. The building seems a little older, but it's kept up well and has the familiar Embassy Suites setup. Staff were nice, too. I only found out about the $20 parking charge after arriving at night. There wasn't much to indicate in the lot that parking cost extra, and nobody mentioned it at check-in. I spotted a small paper sign with a QR code on my way to the elevators, but the website it led to didn't say the price. By the time I called the front desk and learned the fee, I didn't really have another option. There aren't many other places nearby, either.

The building looks nice inside and the location is good, but the rooms are old, moldy, and poorly decorated. Breakfast was terrible apart from the one person making omelets. For the evening reception, you get two drink tickets and mixed nuts. Parking uses a third-party app.
