Being within walking distance of the French Quarter attractions was the only good part of our stay. The hosts seemed unprofessional and dishonest to me. The rental wasn't clean, the thermostat said 73 but the room felt hotter and we couldn't adjust it, and the toilet didn't work properly. Inside and outside, the home was poorly maintained and needed cleaning and repairs. From what I saw, the hosts also seemed to make things up about guests or the situation to make bad ratings seem less credible. Our group wished we'd chosen one of the other rentals on our list. Edit: This isn't Chris. Hosts, you should be ashamed of how much you're lying. It's unfortunate for honest guests who expect better service from a 10 year host.

For that New Orleans feel, this is the only place I'd stay. The rooms are beautiful and the location is perfect. The owners are so much fun and great hosts. Be sure to visit the metaphysical shop they own. I'll definitely return and recommend it.

We were after a real New Orleans stay, and this historic shotgun house was exactly what we wanted. Frenchmen’s St. is just a block away, with some of the city’s best jazz clubs. Asia & Erika were wonderful hosts.

The owners were laid-back and helpful when the WiFi went out, and the house itself had that quirky, authentic New Orleans feel. Frenchmen is one street over for music, the French Market is about a five-minute walk, and Starbucks and a supermarket are also nearby. It worked out perfectly. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting.

We were so glad we stayed here. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and Frenchman street is only a block away. You’re close enough to get to the party easily, but far enough from the noise.
