Sutton House B & B

We’ve traveled past Sutton House at least 300 times over the years, and finally chose to stay there for our anniversary. We’ve made a yearly trip to reconnect and reminisce, and we just loved this stay. Our room was the Blue Hyacinth on the third floor, a grand room with a beautiful lake and mountain view. Our hostess was engaging and knowledgeable. Breakfast was just the right amount, and there was fresh fruit and baked goods available for snacks. We’ll definitely be back soon. It’s one of the best B&Bs we’ve stayed in over 23 years.

Breakfasts were excellent, with plenty of food and good coffee. We had the pretty and very comfortable Blue Hyacinth room. Its bathroom is huge and has a jacuzzi tub. It takes a while for the hot water to come through, but once it does, there’s plenty. The B&B was quiet and comfortable, and all in all we had a very pleasant stay. I’d absolutely love to stay again.

The host and staff were welcoming and friendly, and the interior rooms stayed quiet and air conditioned despite the busy street outside. The home’s historic character gives some of the amenities quirky features. It’s a nicely done B&B, and I had a great stay. I’d come back.

Tais was a wonderful hostess, and her staff were a delight. We enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch and stargazing at night. The rooms were clean, breakfast was delicious, and the pool was amazing. The grounds were full of plants and happiness. Outstanding experience, and highly recommended. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
