Best Western Plus Classic Inn & Suites

I left something behind, and the hotel found it quickly and made pickup easy for my mom. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout, including letting me check in early, which helped a lot. It was also a convenient spot, about 10 minutes from where I needed to be. Really appreciated the service.

There was a bit of traffic noise, which couldn't really be helped, but otherwise it was a quiet stay. Our room was clean and well kept, and the staff were super friendly and accommodating.

I’ve stayed here for years when visiting family nearby, but the hotel has gotten worse over time. The elevator was the big problem this visit. On the first ride up with our kids, it started banging loudly and shaking so badly that it felt like we might drop four floors. I’ve never experienced anything like that in an elevator. I called the front desk, and they said it had been serviced and was fine. I can’t believe that, and if it’s true, they need to have someone come back and actually fix it. I’m only here for one night, so I’ll use the stairs for the rest of the trip. There was also confusion when I called around noon to ask about early check-in and said I’d arrive around 1pm. At the desk, the receptionist seemed puzzled and thought I meant 1am, even though I’d said I was asking about checking in early. I could let that go. Next time I’m staying at the Holiday Inn down the street.

The room had a comfortable bed, and the receptionist was lovely, got me checked in quickly, and greeted me with a smile. The shower was hot, though the water pressure was barely there. The shampoo and conditioner bottles were tiny, practically doll-sized. Cleanliness was another story. There was a large dead tree roach on the floor when I came in, and I kept my bag off the ground after that. I was glad it was only a one-night stay. The towel had a stain, and I’ll leave it to CSI to decide whether it was blood or something worse. A housekeeper must have seen it while folding the towel and still left it there. Breakfast was pretty much over by 7:45am. At 8am, the buffet was trampled, there was mud all over the lobby, nothing had been replenished, and I couldn’t see any staff cleaning or restocking. I gave up and went to McDonald’s for hot, trauma-free hash browns. Nice staff and a cozy bed, but cleanliness and care weren’t part of the package. I won’t be back unless I’m filming a horror short called “The Roach and the Stain.”
