I've stayed in Center for 10+ years, and this has become my favorite motel. I moved here from the Super 8 down the street, and the rates are better. The new management is welcoming and kind, keeps the rooms clean, and makes sure we have a good experience. Breakfast is warm and amazing, and when I asked for towels, they brought them right away. There's plenty of fast food and stores nearby. 10/10 recommend!

The beds and pillows are comfortable, and the shower is awesome, but the rooms really need updating. This is an older hotel with zero frills. The ice machine is just an ice chest with a Tupperware container for a scoop. Seriously dude, order 2 from Amazon. My bedspread had multiple holes in it. The owner updated the lobby and turned the breakfast dining area into a personal residence, but didn't spend a dime on the rooms.

This place is America's Best, but they made up a gal's name. I waited 15 minutes, honking and knocking to wake the guy up so he could check me in. The room was absolutely disgusting. Gross.

They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, and the service was fantastic. Best air conditioning in Texas.

The staff were extremely rude and disrespectful to us when I checked in with my wife and her friends for a ladies weekend. They rudely kicked my kids and the other kids out of the pool. This place isn't kid friendly as described, and it wasn't cozy or clean. The bed was hard, the pillows small and flat, and the blanket was thinner than the sheets. Roaches crawled in every corner. There were big patches of peeling paint, dark stained carpet, and unsafe stairs and rails. It's poor and pitiful. I'll gladly tell everyone to go somewhere else and pay the extra few dollars for peace of mind.
