A memorable stay, with clean rooms, lovely views, and five-star service. I can't say enough good things about the place.

The quiet location made for a relaxing, rejuvenating weekend, even with the public beach right out front. We stayed two nights in the Nantucket Sound room, which has a balcony overlooking the ocean. Craigville Beach is just across the street, so getting to and from the water is easy. The motel was spotless and felt like a bargain compared with many other places. The Barnacle, with its amazing food, is just down the road. Housekeeping promptly replenished our toiletries, and we had no issues. I loved the place and hope to return next summer. I can hardly recommend it highly enough.

I've stayed at the Ocean View three times now, and it's been reliable every visit. You can't beat how close it is to the beach, and the friendly, accommodating staff have always made things easy. The rooms are clean and the beds feel just like my own, so no complaints there. I love the room details that give the place a real Cape feeling. Most recently I stayed in the Hyannis Port room, and the morning sun on our private balcony, with the ocean view, was perfect. A must if you're staying around Centerville.

The room was cute and clean, and our window looked across the street toward the public beach. We’d never visited the Cape before, and an acquaintance had recommended the Ocean View. There was just one room available when we booked, on the ground floor in the middle of the building. I imagine the upstairs rooms with balconies get a better beach view. Being able to walk right over was nice, but the water was so calm that it felt more like a big lake. We missed the large waves and surf roar we’ve heard at other beaches.

I’ve stayed at the Oceanview in spring, summer, and fall, and it’s always beautiful. This was my third visit, and the private balcony I booked this time was well worth it. The beach is just steps away, there’s no $25 parking fee, and the summer crowd clears out at night. Early mornings are peaceful too, with people walking, doing yoga, or watching the sunrise. The marsh grass views out back are lovely, and The Barnacle clam shack next door has really good seafood. The staff is always super helpful, and the room was comfortable for a week. A few little upkeep things could use attention. The light switches were a bit grimy, and there was a rusty-looking spot at the bottom of the shower, though it seemed safe. The wires interrupt an otherwise perfect marsh view, and road noise and kids doing burnouts near the parking lot before it gets locked at night can be annoying. Still, it’s much more peaceful than, say, Hampton, and none of that is the motel’s fault. I love this place and plan to come back every year.
