The hot water lasted at most three minutes, and the showers barely worked, switching off and back on every 15 seconds. The room also had damaged floors and piping, plus raw food left by the previous guest. For a $150 deposit, that's ridiculous. I'm epileptic and told them about it. They discriminated against me and my service dog, and I'm pressing charges over discrimination involving medical equipment and a service animal. Do NOT go to lakeview inn if you have conditions. Edit: You're lying, and I have the call recorder. This is an issue for court. You kept our deposit. The animals were medical equipment, I have proof there was no damage, and the room was SPOTLESS for your maid. We didn't mind not getting an extension. We objected to deposit fraud and discrimination and lies. Your business is so unprofessional. You did the same thing to a family member two years ago. His room was fine, there were no animals, and he still didn't get his deposit back.

Friendly staff, a clean room with the basics, and a lovely lake view made this a fantastic deal. There's even laundry on site. We'll be back.

The most useful thing to know about Lakeview is to bring your own clean towels. The staff keep the rooms tidy, but don't seem to know how to wash towels, and the front desk is rarely staffed. We had a reservation and confirmation number but couldn't find anyone to check us in on our first night, so we stayed next door at the LaQuinta Inn. See my review if interested. The property is old and has seen years of renovations, which shows in the affordable price. Rooms are a good size, though the clothes bar is awkwardly placed. There's a great view over Plummer Lake and it's near some good coffee and breakfast spots in Centralia. Fiddler's Coffee is a block away for coffee and a light breakfast, and Hash Restaurant is four blocks away for an exceptional breakfast. See my reviews of Fiddler's and Hash if interested.

We'd been coming here a couple of times a year for roughly eight years, and it was usually a nice, clean hotel. On our last visit in August, though, there were cockroaches in the room. I hope they address it.
