Best Western West Hills Inn

There aren't many choices in town, and Country Kitchen nearby had good food. The hotel itself needs a major update: the tiny pillows and see-through sheets were rough, and the bedding needs replacing. There was no body wash or conditioner left in the bathroom, either.

The breakfast was the only good part of our stay. Our room door lock wouldn't hold: maintenance came to fix it, and it worked three times before failing again. The air conditioner also struggled, and on the first night I had to swap out a blanket that looked like it had blood or something on it. From our ground-floor room, every movement upstairs was painfully loud. We reported these and other problems with doors in our group and did receive a discount. I also asked a couple of local people about the hotel, since it had been recommended as one of the better options. They were shocked by how far it had gone downhill and said new management had taken over. I really can't recommend staying here.

We got a nice, big room, and the pool and hot tub were great. Breakfast was awesome too. My one gripe was that the bed felt too soft.

The hotel itself was nice, but all night people kept going in and out of the room across from mine. I was surprised nobody seemed to be watching the cameras or that no one complained. Just one issue after another.
