Hampton Inn Chambersburg

The walls are so thin I could hear every word from the room next door, which is the only reason I’m not giving five stars. Otherwise, it’s a very nice hotel: free breakfast, friendly and helpful employees, and plenty of room storage. My room had an ironing board, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. The water pressure was good too.

The hotel and room were very clean, and the staff were friendly and professional. I liked the room’s decor, especially the coat hooks with four hooks. Wish more motels had those. I skipped breakfast, but the coffee was good.

This was our second stay in a year, and it’s a good place for the price. The room was clean and comfortable, and getting in and out, including check-in, was easy. We were on the third floor. I heard young kids in the hall once at night, but it was quiet after their door closed. The temperature control worked well, and the shower was good with nice thick towels. There was a little noise, so earplugs might help if that bothers you. I’d recommend it.

I’ve come back twice since my first visit, and both stays were pleasant with no problems. On that first one, I had a clean, comfortable king room on the second floor of the three-story building, and the hotel seemed well maintained and was easy to reach from the highway. It was quiet except for a few seconds of loud noise whenever the room next door flushed the toilet, or at least I think that was what it was. I can imagine it waking a light sleeper.
