Days Inn Vernon

The location might be the only thing this place has going for it. I paid for a room with two beds, but in the morning they switched me to one with a single double bed, and it was broken. When I stood up, my fiance would sink down on the lopsided bed. They still haven't refunded us. In my opinion, it costs too much for these conditions. What a mess.

The TV wasn't much use, so I watched movies on my iPhone. The beds had burns, rips, dirt, and hair from what looked like a bald head. Roaches were crawling around while I was lying down, and I started itching. When I got up, there were bugs on the bed. I stayed here with my son's dad and my two-year-old, and honestly, I'd rather have slept in an abandoned car. It has that First 48 kind of motel feel, and I doubt the cameras would even work if something happened. I'm calling the health department after leaving this review. Only people who are okay living like this would be fine staying here.

There were so many pets staying here that it sounded like a kennel throughout the night. The main building's outside door lock was broken, so anyone could come in, though not that anyone would. The lobby doesn't seem to exist because the owners keep it locked, and you have to be buzzed in like at a liquor store in a bad neighborhood. The owner said there were no refunds and she didn't care if I came back when I brought these things up. It's rough when a Days Inn has to use fake photos of a good Days Inn.

There were large pieces of lawn equipment in the lobby, and there weren't any vending machines or an ice machine. The photos of this Days Inn are a lie. The motel looks nothing like them. It's a dump and needs to be shut down.
