I’ve never written a negative Google review before, but I feel I need to speak up about our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Chandler Downtown. My adult daughter and I were there the night before another daughter’s bridal shower in downtown Chandler. At midnight, water started pouring through the shower light fixture, leaving about an inch of water in the bathroom, and it also came out of a vent in the bedroom. We called the desk and immediately packed our luggage and the items we’d prepared for the shower. They moved us to a different room, but we didn’t get to bed until around 1:00. Guests in the room next door stayed up until 3:00. The next morning I asked whether we could get compensation and was told no. After we got home, I emailed the GM, who replied promptly and said we’d get a one-night refund that day. His email was dated 2/3/26, but I’ve checked my credit card statement and the refund was never processed. The whole experience has been frustrating and disappointing. Hilton guarantees stays at its properties.

We picked this place for our last vacation night to celebrate a birthday. The location is great for restaurants and bars, but the new room they put us in had never been used, and that turned out badly. We had to make our way through a construction area to reach it. The TV didn’t work; two employees spent an hour and a phone call getting it fixed. I also needed maintenance to figure out how to switch off an LED light that wasn’t wired to the switch properly. The shower never got beyond lukewarm and had almost no pressure, while loud music from the bar next door kept blaring. They said they couldn’t reimburse me for the room because I’d booked through a third party. I’ve asked management several times to call, but no one has responded.

Brittany made me comfortable throughout my stay and was so respectful. When I checked in, I noticed a few problems in the room and called down. She sorted them out without any fuss. We need more people like her, and she deserves a raise. ❤️

Hailey at the Hilton bar was terrific. The drinks were right on point, and she was quick, friendly, and full of great energy. Even with the bar busy, she kept things running smoothly and made it fun to talk with her. Her service felt thoughtful, not like she was just going through the motions.

The breakfast and laid-back feel were highlights, and the location made it easy to get around Chandler. Our room was comfortable, clean, and kept in good shape. The staff made us feel welcome, and the whole visit went smoothly. I had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Garden Inn.
