It's a nice hotel, but the $100 deposit hold on your card is a lot of nonsense. If I booked online with my card, why should they charge another $100, especially when it takes two to three weeks to get it credited back? I'd suggest paying the $100 in cash so you can get it back the morning you check out.

There's easy access to the freeways, and restaurants and stores are right nearby. The rooms are roomy and clean, and the staff are helpful and nice.

The guy on the phone quoted me $70 and wouldn't go below $60, even though maps shows $35. This feels like a $35-$40 motel. When I got to my room, the TV remote wouldn't turn the TV on. I called, and he said he'd come fix it, but never showed. I called again and got the same promise, with no follow-through. Even the bath towel didn't really seem like a bath towel.

The location and price are good, and the room was comfortable, but I couldn't get the TV to work.

It's usually pretty quiet, and the rooms are fairly clean. The location is convenient, right off I-10 and within walking distance of stores and restaurants.
