Breakfast was good, with the usual Hilton food, coffee, and juice. There's a Chick-fil-a right beside the hotel, and it's always crowded. The place is still being renovated, with lots of dumpsters and trucks in the parking lot, and they hadn't cleared all the snow, so we just had to park wherever we could. I stayed twice. The first room was nice and spacious, but the toilet kept running after I flushed, which was frustrating. On my second visit, I was in a suite and could smell the other room's cooking very strongly. My TV picture was blue, and the toilet wouldn't flush at all because the water was completely off. I called downstairs to ask to move, but the woman seemed hesitant. Maybe it was because the only room "available" was on the first floor, I don't know. I wouldn't recommend a first-floor room in winter if you get cold easily. Cold air came in under the vent, and even with the heat set to 90, the room never got warm. The bathroom was freezing too.

The breakfast was sub-par, and there was a lot of noise late at night from inside the lobby and outside. If you stay, choose a top floor to avoid the ground-floor noise. We were there for a week and didn't get maid service until we requested it on day five. They brought towels and emptied the trash, but didn't clean the bathroom or change the bedding. The fold-out bed had a urine stain on its bottom fitted pad when we arrived. There was no bedding for it, so we had to ask at the front desk, where we also reported the stain. The sofa had dirty stains on it too.

We appreciate Ms. Bernice Williams, Head of Housekeeping, coming to help us. On Monday, October 13th, at 5:00 PM, we were at the Front Desk asking for sheets and towels. She told us to go back to our room, then came and cleaned it and changed the linens. I had spoken with staff at 10:00 AM that morning, so it seems the Front Desk never entered our request. We're grateful to Ms. Bernice.

We were only there one night and didn't use the amenities or other services. The toilet in the bathroom was dirty. There's not much around the hotel. As we were leaving, there was a fatal accident and then we witnessed a hit and run, though that had absolutely nothing to do with the hotel. It didn't leave us feeling like it was a great area.

This Home2Suites is better than most, and they actually listen to your requests and honor them. Breakfast is the usual sub-par Hilton fare, with "plastic eggs" and the like. Don't come for breakfast. McDonalds is a huge step up, so spend the money and eat something you can identify.
