The room was on the small side, but everything else was great. Staff were lovely, and there was always drinking water and coffee available. Breakfast was amazing. The location is good for walking around town, even though it felt pretty much like a ghost town. We'd stay again.

On trips between Kentucky and Virginia, we usually stop overnight around Charleston as a halfway point. After trying several places, some good and some bad, we've settled on this Holiday Inn Express for future trips. The room was clean, comfortable, and well arranged, and check-in was quick. Breakfast was great, especially the automatic pancake machine. The hotel is close to downtown and I-64, but far enough away that we heard no outside noise. Looking forward to coming back next time.

We booked at the last minute while traveling through and really liked the rooms and breakfast. They told us by phone there were no rooms available, but I was able to reserve one online through a booking site.

My girlfriend and I come to this hotel often, and the staff are amazing. Breakfast is good, with the food rotating regularly, and you're right by everything you might want to visit in downtown Charleston. On December 6, we had trouble with a previous hotel and this one took us in later that night without any hassle. Highly recommend it.

For business or an event, this is a dependable place to stay in Charleston, especially if you need to get to the convention center. The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable, the facilities are practical and well maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
