Traffic makes getting in and out of Charleston tricky, so I’d give the location four stars. Otherwise, the people were wonderful. Our first-floor room was roomy, really clean, quiet, and had no strange odors. I even wanted to take the pillow home, but didn’t! The breakfast area was remarkably clean and well stocked.

This was my first stay at a Homes2, and it was a pleasant surprise. The front desk staff were consistently courteous, friendly, and helpful. Our room was large and clean, with a convenient little living room, and the kitchen had everything we needed for four days. Downtown Charleston is only 15 minutes away.

I liked the palmetto tree lights at night, and the breakfast sandwiches were a favorite. The hotel was clean, near a mall and across from a grocery store, and the staff were polite and professional. It was a pleasant stay and I’d come back. I’d just want cleaner silverware and a better kept DND sign, since it had something sticky all over it.

There was plenty of room for luggage and lots of outlets, and the suite had a very nice kitchen and living area. The bathroom was roomy too. The thermostat was simple to use and worked well, the room was clean and smelled great, and the peephole had a privacy cover. Even the halls and elevators were nice. Breakfast had lots of choices and seating, and the staff were kind and excellent. Parking had surveillance cameras to help keep vehicles safe. For just $10 more than other hotels, the large rooms were a great deal. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in.
