A convenient location, too. My room was clean and great, and the bed was really comfortable, with no flat pillows. The front desk was friendly, and Paula checked that I had enough towels. I had a pleasant stay and plan to come back next year.

The beds were comfortable, and the place is being renovated, but it probably shouldn't be open right now. Our bathroom had ants, the emergency alarms went off several times overnight, and there were homeless people all over the place. We had a very bad experience.

I went to pick up my daughter. The place looked really nice online, but in person it was the complete opposite. The shower didn't work right, so I had to take a cold one. The rooms smelled awful, and the water came out brown.

The carpets were badly stained, and there were lots of homeless people in the parking lot next door. The location is confusing, too: it has three different hotel names, none of them Capitol Hotel. Breakfast is at another hotel, and even the soap is branded with a different hotel's name.

I don't usually have very good experiences when I travel, but I'd definitely stay here again. I came from Tampa, FL for a week, and every employee, including the owner, was accommodating. Breakfast was fresh and hot each morning, and the maids kept my room looking spectacular.
