Andrea, the owner and manager, was responsive, professional, and lovely to deal with. She made it clear she was available if anything came up, though all our needs were already more than met. We stayed in the Steeple Suite with family and got to see all the units. Every one was attractive, well equipped, and extremely clean, and the downtown Charleston location was perfect. The kitchens had every appliance and utensil we needed and were spotless. Bathrooms were well stocked with high end products and sumptuous towels, and the comfortable beds had luxe linens and bedding. This was probably the best vacation rental we've experienced.

The room was a great size for my husband and me, and we had a very nice stay. We came to Charleston for my birthday and Spring Break. It was a little noisy from the guests upstairs. We also couldn't figure out how to turn down the bedroom TV or change the Samsung plus station in the living room. We'd definitely come back.

Andrea was responsive to my questions before, during, and after our stay, and we'd definitely stay here again. Our group of nine booked the Chestnut Suite and Steeple Suite, and loved being so close to everything. We walked everywhere from the doorstep, with no need for a car or other transport. Harris Teeter, a major grocery store, was a surprising convenience just .2 mile away. The area felt safe after dark and was very quiet. My husband and I had the ground-floor room nearest the street and rarely heard anything at night. Both suites were nicely decorated and had everything we needed. This place is an absolute gem.

We only wished we could have stayed longer. The private elevator was wonderful for groceries and luggage, though we would have been very happy without it too. The accommodations were beautiful, spacious, and well appointed, right in downtown Charleston.

Marie was a wonderful hostess, worked with our arrival and departure times, and was easy to reach if we needed anything. We were traveling with our adult children, and the two full bathrooms and separate living rooms gave us welcome privacy and comfort. The unit was tastefully and professionally decorated, with top of the line details all the way down to the ironing board. The photos don't do it justice. I was nervous about cleanliness since this was our first VRBO stay, but the place was immaculate. The beds were amazingly comfortable, showers spacious and modern, and my husband especially liked the water pressure. The location was fantastic. Historic Charleston City Market was just around the corner, with shops and restaurants right outside. We parked at the dedicated spot by the door and never needed the car again. Harris Teeter, with a nice wine selection and open 24/7, was only a block away. Thanks, Marie. We look forward to our next trip to Charleston at the Chestnut!
