We still have no reservation and are out $1200. We booked through Hotels.com, then had to cancel because of the covid-19 epidemic. Hotels.com said the hotel already had the money, so we’d need to cancel directly with them. For several days we couldn’t get through by phone, and eventually reached them by email. They said nobody was in the office. It’s been two months with no follow-up, and further attempts to reach them have gone nowhere. Hotels.com hasn’t helped either, despite having received the payment.
