Kevin Price made a lasting impression on all of us. He took time to point us toward local spots, gave excellent recommendations, and kept checking that we had what we needed. His attention to detail, positive attitude, and willingness to go beyond what’s expected make him a real asset. The whole team was welcoming, professional, and clearly cared about making our stay great. The hotel is beautiful, clean, modern, and thoughtfully updated, and our room was spotless and comfortable after full days exploring the city. We could walk to everything Charleston has to offer. My wife and I stayed May 5-9 with friends on our first trip to Charleston, and it was incredible. Thanks in large part to Kevin and the outstanding staff, it won’t be our last. I’d highly recommend it for a top tier stay with exceptional service.

The ambiance was lovely, the service was great, and the beds were comfortable. But it felt stuffy and hot almost everywhere, from the rooms to the lobby and hallways. We called maintenance about the air conditioning in our room; they said it should be good, but it still felt hot. If you tend to run cold, it’s a great place. If you run hot, you may be uncomfortable.

The room itself was very nice, and the front desk team was exceptional. The problem was the air conditioning, which failed four times in 24 hours. When it went out late at night, nobody was available on site to help, so we had to change rooms in the middle of the night just to get some sleep. The hotel and staff were lovely, but that made for a rough stay for a couple in town for our wedding.

The restaurant was lovely, and everything we ate there was delicious. We stayed four nights in Charleston; our room was comfortable, with a large, well-equipped bathroom, and we appreciated the refillable water bottles. As a senior, I’d have felt better with a grab bar in the shower, though the floor wasn’t slippery. My only other letdown was no coffee service in the evening because of their arrangement with Tracer coffee.
