We were glad we upgraded for the better view, and the hotel had a great one. It’s close to downtown, with everything easy to get to. The place was clean and, as you’d expect from Hilton, the staff were very friendly. The weather didn’t always cooperate, and flooded roads kept us at the hotel for a few hours one day, but we found plenty to do there and the restaurant food was quite good. The undercover was a nice bonus in the rain.

This was our second stay, and getting in and out is easy. The staff are amazing. At night, we got Ubers to King’s street and elsewhere. They arrived within 2-5 mins and cost no more than $10-$12. Great location. I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m in Charleston.

The lobby felt magical, and the front desk attendant was really friendly. Our spacious, comfortable room had the best view of the marina and water. It was by far the best hotel I’ve stayed in, and I’m already looking forward to booking again.

Marc at the front desk gave us a great first impression of Charleston. He greeted me kindly, stayed professional, and was so helpful and informative when I asked lots of questions about the area. His recommendations were the best. I had a great stay, one of my best Hilton experiences, and we’ll come back next time we’re in Charleston. Thanks, Marc, for the hospitality!

The rooms and location have both been great these past two nights, and the rooftop terrace overlooking the water is beautiful. The weather wasn’t cooperating on my first night. After a long drive and workday, I’d been looking forward to watching the sunset, but there wasn’t one, and I had to shelter under the awning while it rained. Kaitlin was working the rooftop terrace bar and made the evening better. She was very friendly, had an infectious smile, chatted with me, suggested a few dinner items that were both great, and recommended places to see while I’m here. I don’t usually mention people by name, but when someone goes above and beyond to turn a bad day around, they deserve it. People in hospitality could learn a lot from her.
