Our loft was excellent, and having our own place in the middle of Charleston for a few days was great. The location can't be beat, and we'd stay here again. Parking is the one hassle: the deck is around the corner, though since you can walk almost everywhere, you mainly notice it when arriving and leaving. A tip, if you exit after hours or before the attendants arrive in the morning, it costs just 7$ to leave no matter how long you parked.

This is basically an apartment with no parking or wifi. We were there midweek, out of season, and the recommended public lot was still full. A room meant for six had only two keys. The wifi was barely enough for checking email, when it worked at all, and every morning brought garbage and construction trucks right outside the windows. It might have been okay if we'd booked through a B&B site, but it was sold to us as a hotel through a third-party site.

A pleasant apartment-style stay right by the heart of King St, with shopping, food, historic sites, and the waterfront all walkable. The place was beautiful, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen and higher-end appliances, plus two TVs and free wifi. The connection was spotty and slow, though. You get the usual hotel comforts without the services, and if something comes up you call a number for help. We didn't need anything and had a very pleasant stay.
