Chandler at the front desk made this a warm stay. When the heat in our room kept coming on and made us uncomfortable, she took care of it quickly and got the problem resolved. She handled everything with a great attitude, even with little help. We’ll be back and will tell others about this lovely hotel.

The rooms at the Townplace Suites of West Ashley/Charleston were spacious and very clean. I was traveling with my elderly mother and aunt, and the staff looked after them so well. Chandler helped with our luggage and guided my mom to her room, going well beyond what she had to do. Everyone was friendly and helpful. It was my first stay, but my daughter lives nearby, so I’ll be back. Thanks for a perfect visit.

Chandler made my daughter’s and my stay at the Town Place Suites by Marriott in Charleston West Ashely feel welcoming and stress-free. We arrived from Florida on Nov 28th, and our first room was very cold because the heat wasn’t working. After I called the desk, Chandler kindly moved us to another room on the same floor. About 10 minutes later, we realized that room had no working heat either. When I called again and said we couldn’t stay there, she immediately agreed and found us a two-bedroom suite on the same floor. She assured us the price wouldn’t change, and this time the room was warm as soon as we walked in. Heating problems can happen, but the way she handled both moves showed she cared about our comfort. I’ve stayed in many hotels, and this could easily have gone badly. Instead, Chandler took it all in stride and made us feel valued. We came to celebrate my daughter’s 50th birthday, and she made the trip wonderful. I retired from banking, and I know a professional, caring person like her doesn’t come along often. We leave for Florida tomorrow and will remember this as a great stay. My daughter and I give Chandler five stars for going far beyond what we expected. Thank you.

I was worn out after a long day working out of town, and usually dread dealing with front desk staff when I’m away from my family. In my experience they can be short, rude, and unprofessional. Chandler was nothing like that: she was incredibly friendly without being overbearing and made me feel welcome. The room is much nicer than I expected, and I’m pleased with everything. I’d recommend this place to anyone.
