The deck has been updated with a ramp for people who can't manage the stairs, and we parked in the small lot outside. We stayed in a first-floor bedroom beside the shared living room, with a full bathroom connected to the room. This is an older building, not a hotel, so it has that character. Downtown Charlevoix is just two blocks away. We were there for one night at the end of November for a birthday trip. Stephen was welcoming and accommodated our dietary restrictions at the full-service breakfast. In the cold months, the living room fireplace is lovely, and we used the space for board games. We'd stay again.

Breakfast was generous, varied, and delicious, and our room was spacious and well kept. Terry welcomed us and was helpful without hovering. It's an easy walk downtown through a charming neighborhood. We'll be back!

The location is superb, and my room was clean and comfortable. Terri was friendly and attentive, and knew the house and town well. She pointed me to the best nearby beach to visit. I had a lovely night at the Charlevoix House, and breakfast was very nice, especially the fresh fruit.

Terry's kindness and thoughtful attention made the stay especially restorative while I was recovering from surgery. She made sure my wife and I were comfortable and well cared for, and shared fascinating details about Charlevoix's history. The inn itself is peaceful and cozy, with a lovely balance of comfort and history. It's also within walking distance of town, so we had both convenience and quiet. Our recent visit to the Charlevoix House was a wonderful choice, and one I will always remember.

Terri was so helpful and accommodating, and the rooms were quiet and comfortable. There are lovely spots to sit outside, beautiful grounds, and welcoming gathering spaces indoors. Breakfast kept bringing surprises, with homemade treats and different things appearing on the abundant banquet table. We loved the place and can't wait to come back, maybe for a girls' night!
