I managed to stay for a week while dealing with homelessness, and at least there was a bed and I only saw one bug. The sheets and pillows were clean, though the comforter had burn holes all over it, so I slept on top using my own sheets and comforter. The room itself needed a lot of cleaning: old grapes and huge dust balls under the bed, a dirty sink, and hair and grime throughout the bathroom. I bought cleaning supplies and a broom just to make it livable. It smelled of stale cigarettes and must, like a smokers’ room, and the odor got into clothes I’d left out of my bag. Two stars for having somewhere to sleep.

I had a kitchen and a large fridge for storing food, and I was comfortable with the service. The room was decent and clean for the most part. Some of the other guests were a little ratchet, though that seems to be everywhere these days. I was okay with my stay overall.

Kim, the general manager, was great. She helped us after hours, showed us the room, and made sure we were taken care of. I can’t say enough about how willing she was to help.

I left feeling unwelcome and disrespected, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless the way guests are treated improves significantly. I had a reasonable concern, but the property manager, Chris, answered in a hostile tone that escalated into verbal abuse. Even from the start, communication was dismissive and unhelpful. What should have been a routine stay became stressful and uncomfortable because of poor service and unprofessional behavior. Hospitality should mean handling concerns respectfully and professionally. Management or ownership needs to address this, because it reflects badly on the whole establishment.

Chris in the office was helpful, and the staff were polite and nice. My room was comfortable and clean, and I had a great experience at this motel.
