The rooms were consistently clean, and the Wi-Fi always worked. It was also quiet, with little extra foot traffic. I stayed at Southern Comfort. inn for two years, left, then came back just under a year later. I've really never had a problem. The towels, sheets, and blankets were always clean, and the people in the office were friendly. I don't have anything bad to say and would come back.
The customer service was great, but the place was filthy. There was underwear in my room, the bathroom was very dirty, and the towel had a light stain. I wouldn't recommend staying unless they spend more time cleaning the rooms.
The female manager was rude, and the room had bed bugs. This was one of the nastiest places I've seen. We didn't bother trying to get our money back. We just left and found the Red Roof Inn down the road. I wouldn't let my dog sleep here.
The staff were really friendly, which was the only good thing about this place. It's raggedy, outdated, and infested with roaches, with lots of drug activity and prostitution. Some people have lived here for years. This hotel needs to be shut down.
