The room has a bedroom, bathroom, and a living room with a kitchen, plus two TVs, so it really started to feel like home. My wife and I had to stay for quite a while, and it was a great experience. The staff were friendly and courteous, and the manager is one of the most amazing people we’ve ever met.

The bed was comfortable, and the roomy kitchen and living area are a real plus if you need a full kitchen for a longer stay. Parking is free, too. There aren’t many other amenities, and my one complaint was a strong cigarette smell in the room, likely left by previous guests.

That patio was a lovely place to sit and think, and the rooms were always clean. Over two years, this place became home while I kept battling at uva. Ashley was the captain holding everything together. She cared, watched t take first steps, and saw me through the fight. I’m not happy to be moving, but I’m grateful for her love, support, and advice alongside all her daily work. Seeing her shovel snow like a beast was epic. I’d say don’t mingle with the other guests and you’ll be fine.

The place is close to the bus, grocery and drug stores, gas, and a shopping center right across the street. It’s not fancy, but it has what you need, including dishes, pots, a microwave, a good-sized fridge, and Wi-Fi. I spent a month and a half here on a business trip. The office staff were helpful, the room was clean, and the place was quiet and well run. Most of the other guests seemed to be working too and were happy. I’d stay again if I’m back in the area.
